Linda Giles was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, in 1960.  She moved to Victoria, B.C., with her family in 1979.  Since then, Linda has traveled extensively, working in the Medical field, both in Canada and the U.S.A.  Linda is self-taught, painting exclusively in water-colors, acrylic and mixed media.  She has now invested twenty years developing her skills.  She exhibits in both Canada and the U.S.A.  


Recently, 2008-2009, Linda began developing a new media art, digital pathways of abstract illusions with photography.  Her reputation is growing in all fields.  Recently she has been approached by a number of reputable galleries across Canada, the U.S., and Europe to put on exhibits.  As her reputation continues to grow the demand for her unique renderings increases as well.
