Linda is self-taught, painting exclusively in water-colours, acrylic and mixed media.  She has now invested twenty years developing her skills.  She began her art career working in porcelain and pottery.  Like her paintings, Linda was deeply influenced, by Southwest native art.  She worked in this medium for a number of years and had a number of exhibits in both Canada and the USA.  Moreover, she was commissioned for a number of pieces.  Her sculptures can be found in the collections of both First Nations, B.C. - as well as in a number of personal collections.

In her paintings a number of figures can be seen interacting, some are dancing, some are greeting each other, others are visiting other 'planes'.  Linda awaits the right moment when visions and images appear to her, inspiring her to paint what she feels and sees with a heartfelt rhythm of mystic flowing colours.  This rare art form set Linda Giles in a realm of her own as she carefully follows her mind's eye into flowing spiritual senses of creativity.  Her reputation is growing in the field.  Recently, she has been approached by a number of reputable galleries across Canada, the USA and Europe to put on exhibits in 2009 and 2010.  As her reputation continues to grow the demand for her unique renderings increases as well.
